Generator

Generators are essential to generate power effectively and efficiently in industries. The most common issue of generators is neglected maintenance. There are 2 most common generator fuel problems:

  • Fuel impurities
    Impurities are contaminating the fuel, increase density and thus causing stress to the fuel pump. It also reduces the flow and fluid flow of diesel inside the fuel lines and cause inefficient of power.
  • Condensation ( the most damaging factor)
    The condensation forming inside the tank where the diesel tank that   located outside and the fuel inside the tank had changes in temperature due to environment. Temperature, humidity and condensation are important factors in managing fuel integrity. The presence of free water provides a medium for microbiological growth that result in the formation of slime and acids. These cause corrosion of metal surfaces such as storage tanks, pumps and injectors.

The engine on industrial generator alike the engine in your car. There are going to be problems if you don’t check the engine’s components for wear and tear in addition to preventative maintenance. Therefore, proper engine maintenance is key to running your generator efficiently. One of the major issue of excavator is fuel issue. Fuel is the key to run the engine correctly and effectively. Here, we listed out the common problems with diesel fuel system.

Exorin treatment is not a cure all. It is not meant to replace the need for professional diagnostics, repair or routine maintenance. Marine

There are 4 common issues for marine diesel engines. They may seem complex on the surface but the operational principle powering up the marine diesel engine are based on simple mechanics. If the engine are properly maintained, their engine are reliable. Let us look into those common diesel engine problems:

  • Fuel System
    Water and dirt find its way get into the diesel fuel injectors where it chokes the combustion process.
  • Respiratory Stress
    Alike diesel power plant, plenty of air has to accompany the injectors so that the compression cycle ignites the fuel. If the air filters are clogged, loss of power is inevitable. If the dirt continues to build in the air filter, simple mathematics takes charge. A low air, high fuel mix causes the cylinders to overheat, the oil seals to fail, and the engine to emit a nasty cloud of black smoke.
  • Fuel Quality
    Fuel quality can be a chronic problem. The fuel isn't flowing properly, perhaps because of a blocked oil filter. Small marine diesel engines work hard. They endure high temperatures and great pressure extremes. A well-maintained fuel line is critically important in a marine diesel engine.
  • Cooling System Woe
    Fuel that contains Sulphur, it is inevitable for diesel fuel to leave a trial of impurities inside the fuel system even with a ultra low sulphur diesel. It is a time matter those impurities will cause serious damage. The temperature and pressure extremes in a marine diesel create stress on the system. A water intake aperture draws freshwater in, distributes the cool liquid, and uses a heat exchanger to regulate the temperature of the engine. A damaged suction impeller or clogged discharge port attenuates cooling performance. Additionally, the heat exchanger assembly is susceptible to inflowing freshwater debris.
