In line with efforts to promote car engine fuel system maintenance, oil-saving and black smoke reduction campaigns. A test and demonstration were held at the Automotive Engineering Building, Yayasan Sabah Technical College recently witnessed by lecturers, staff and students from the Diploma in Engineering Automotive.
The demonstration was conducted through two sessions, namely, the theoretical session presented by Exorin Corporate Officer, Ismail Norazman and Exorin Head of Technical Support, Darryl Darius, by providing exposure on the importance of fuel line system regular maintenance and the impact on the environment caused by black smoke pollution from vehicles used by the public. In the second session, Exorin gave practical exposure on the manual application of cleansing the four-wheel drive fuel line system and the students also have been given a chance to do it practically with guidance from Exorin Technical Support Team.
Ismail said, “Black smoke containing materials such as Hydrocarbons, CO, S02 and NOX every day was released by various types of vehicles is dangerous to the human health and to the other living things, therefore Exorin comes in hand with a solution that is innovatively developed by local expertise to counter this black smoke release by vehicles. ”
This demonstration received positive feedback and response from KTYS lecturers and officers present. Mr. Harun Laban, Student Affairs Officer who was also one of the car owners of the demonstration sessions, praised and compliment on Exorin’s products which had proved to reduced black smoke, thus contributing to corporate social responsibility for conserving the environment.
During the event, Head of Diploma Program of Automotive Engineering En. Abd. Rasman Abd. Rashid, College Counselor Abin Hj. Alpisa and his lecturers, En. Asdi Zakaria, Awg Arfizi, En.Failing were also present during the demonstration. Abd. Rasman said “the exposure to this innovative and proven green technology can bring these college students more deeply into the automotive system, particularly in the fuel line system. Engineering and automotive industries are growing rapidly throughout the country and our students need space and opportunity to stay in front in acquiring new knowledge no matter in lecture rooms and practical workshops”. “This product effectively removes black smoke and maintains the car owner’s fuel line system. Products developed by such local entrepreneurs are developed to address environmental problems especially in relation to air pollution can be addressed towards better air quality. We are ready to work with more agencies to run reduce emission campaigns, “said Ismail Norazman. The efforts to tackle this environmental issue are in line with the Sabah Department of Environment and PUSPAKOM through continuous collaboration since Exorin began to grow in the automotive and engineering industries in Malaysia. In addition, the test results shown to the participants of the demonstration received a remarkable reaction. “It is something that is anticipated and based on experience, the owner of the transport company is most keen on oil-saving in their business operations. Treatment using Exorin products not only fulfills their requirements to increase energy efficiency but also reduces black smoke to avoid the lawsuit by the authorities while conducting business “said Darryl Darius.
